Here we are again, this time its was a 5 day transfer! Chris and I were thrilled our embie babies made it till then! We arrived at the office and were the third transfer of the day and the last.
The embryologist was very happy with our embies. We transferred 2: an AA and an AB. These were great grades for them! We were told we would have one to freeze that day and possibly one the next day. As I have been a bad blogger and really just not as involved and documenting this IVF cycle as last time I am playing catch up. So, we got the phone call the day after the transfer that only the one was viable for freezing. So, one fro-baby! Hey, that is WAY more than last time.
Today is 8 days past ovulation, 3 days past 5 day transfer. I hoping to hold out for beta or AF...bring on February 5th.

IVF#2: day 21 (3dt pushed to 5dt)
Our 3dt has been pushed back to a 5dt!!!! They were very pleased and so are we!!!
Ok on to the numbers:
1-3 cells
1-5 cells
2-6 cells
4-7 cells
2-9.cells
1-10 cells
1-11 cells
Embryologist said that they all have a 0-1 grade fragmentation, meaning 10% or less fargmentation which is perfect!
Last time we transferred two 9 cells embies on day 3....this time is sooooo different!!! Oh and I swear they tell me different info each time, but we had 14 mature and 12 fertilize and now really we are down to 10 that they are watching as the 3&5 cells are behind and most likely wont catch up.
Sunday at 9:30 is our transfer!

IVF#2: day 20 waiting
I feel almost back to normal. I started the progesterone the day after ER and already are sick of them! I am still not too anxious and just would love an update on our little embies! But today they are sleeping and hopefully dividing and growing strong. PLEASE, can some make it to freeze!!
Tomorrow we get an update!

IVF#2: Day 19 Fert Report
Last time each time I got news from the RE my heart would drop. Not this time. I am sitting here even more thrilled!! Out of 19 eggs, 12 were mature at retrieval, later 2 more matured and all 14 fertilized. We are still scheduled for a 3 day transfer, but they will push it to a 5 day transfer if the embies look good and strong Friday morning. So, 8-8:30 tomorrow morning we will get a call and they will update us on cell count, fragmentation and if we need to head to the RE's for the 3 day transfer or if they are going to push it to Sunday.
I am surprisingly calm. I am, of course, going to be stressed and anxious when the call comes in, but right now I am in motivated mode and trying to get things organized around the house!

IVF #2: Day 18 Egg Retrieval
I was thinking of canceling this cycle. I was worried we would get less eggs than last time. Boy, is this cycle the opposite of last time...I would love for the end result to be the opposite too!
We had ER on Tuesday, I wasn't even excited; more like dreading bad news. I woke up and made them tell me 3 times before I believed them 19. Nineteen. NINETEEN EGGS!!!
Holy moly!! I was definitely more soar this time too, but it is worth it.

IVF #2: day 16 u/s and trigger
Today was u/s #4. Dr. P did the u/s and was encouraged for this cycle compared to last month. The right ovary seems to have all the goodies this month and lefty is sporting one good potential follie and tons of little ones.
Here are the numbers: 26.5, 16, 22, 17.5, 24, 19.5, 17.5, 14.5, 14, 14
My E2 was 2385.
My instructions are to take an extra shot of Follistim-225IU this afternoon. Then tonight at 9pm on the dot take my 2 ovidrel shots. So, 3 more shots for this cycle!!
Egg Retrieval is Tuesday morning at 9am. Possible transfer back is Friday/Sunday.
Say some cheers, send some thoughts and as many prayers as possible...at least that is what I am doing.

IVF#2: day 15 u/s #3
Still stimming. Still in limbo.
Not amazing news not bad news.
My right is the game player this month with 13 but she only measured the largest 6 coming in at: 21.9, 12.5, 13.3, 22.4, 20.9, 16.6. Lefty (who DS popped out of) is lagging behind with about 9 and the largest being: 13, 11.2, 13, 10, 12.9, 10.3. Apparently they only measure 6 on each side bc that is what the computer lets them input but they do an over all count which is hard bc my follies seem to be on top of each other.
I stalked the Saturday RE (not my usual RE) in the hall and made him have a conversation with me. He was cool about it and looked up last months follies. He feels that this is how I respond to the meds. I may never be a quantity egg producer and that with this response so far he would keep my meds the same if we canceled and restarted. He felt that even if we did that I might not get more and really he is hoping and counting on the quality being better with the lupron flare we are doing. He is working tomorrow and felt I should stim another day and he said he wants to personally do my u/s.
So as only an IFer can understand we are in limbo another day and it means 3 more shots and another 2 hour round trip to the REs office at 7am.....ugh!
If anyone was a cheerleader please cheer for lefty tonight! Or pray or send thoughts. I really want to be done with these drugs!
